Building sustainable growth engines for founder-led companies ready to move beyond heroics and referrals.
A growth partner for founders building their next chapter
Flywheel is a growth architecture firm built for founders who have momentum and want to turn it into something durable.
At some point, effort alone stops working.
Growth becomes harder to explain, harder to predict, and heavier to carry personally.
That's where Flywheel comes in.
We help founders design and build growth engines that support the next stage of the business without chaos, burnout, or guesswork.
Led by Growth Architects who've held senior roles, owned businesses, and built companies. We understand the pressure and trade-offs that come with leading growth.
Every engagement begins by understanding your business, market, and constraints. We match you with the Growth Architect whose experience fits your situation.
We combine Growth Architecture with integrated execution support, including prospecting, lead generation, and marketing teams to power your system.
Flywheel partners with founders ready to move beyond reactive growth, build systems that don't rely on heroics, and create momentum that compounds over time.
The entrepreneurial journey behind Flywheel Growth Engines
Founder & Chief Growth Architect
Rob Scott is the Founder and Chief Growth Architect of Flywheel Growth Engines and Managing Director of Nob Hill Capital. He works with founders ready to move from momentum to mastery by designing growth engines that support their path, whether scaling to the next level, raising growth capital, or preparing for an exit.
Rob's career spans more than three decades as an operator, entrepreneur, investor, and advisor. Starting his first company as a teenager, he has since founded, scaled, and exited multiple ventures, centered on one discipline: turning growth into a system that compounds rather than something that depends on heroics.
Rob joined Park Place Technologies in 2012 and helped grow the company from sub-$50M to more than $300M in revenue. He held senior executive leadership roles driving revenue growth, was involved in more than 20 acquisitions, and Rob exited in 2019 to start Spark Growth Strategies but remained on as a shareholder until exiting fully in late 2025 after the company was acquired by Warburg Pincus.
In 2022, Spark Growth Strategies was acquired by Class VI Partners to become their M&A advisory practice, Pathfinder. Rob and his team worked with more than 90 entrepreneurs preparing for successful exits, giving him deep understanding of how growth decisions impact valuation, deal outcomes, and life after liquidity.
Today, Rob and his team at Flywheel Growth Engines help founders design growth engines that create clarity, predictability, and long-term value. His approach blends strategic rigor with lived empathy, informed by decades in the operator seat.
