About Flywheel Growth Engines

Flywheel Growth Engines helps founder-led, mid-market B2B companies turn inconsistent, effort-driven growth into predictable, compounding growth.

We do not sell tactics or run high-pressure sales motions. We design growth systems. Our work starts with clarity, not pitches, and our conversations reflect that.

This role is a critical part of that experience.

The Role

As an Engagement Specialist, your job is simple and powerful.

You help initiate thoughtful, low-pressure conversations with founders and CEOs who may be a strong fit for Flywheel.

You are not selling.
You are not pitching.
You are not closing deals.

Your role is to set up introductory conversations between qualified founders and our senior Growth Architects. These are exploratory conversations designed to understand the business, the challenges, and whether it makes sense to continue talking.

Think professional, curious, and respectful introductions rather than traditional outbound sales.

What You Will Actually Do

  • Engage founders and CEOs through outbound and inbound channels using Flywheel's engagement approach
  • Set up qualified, completed introductory calls for our Growth Architects
  • Ensure conversations are scheduled, prepared for, and completed
  • Maintain clean notes and basic tracking in our systems
  • Learn how complex B2B buying actually works in real founder-led businesses
  • Represent Flywheel with credibility, clarity, and professionalism

You Will Be Trained On

  • Our ICP and how to recognize real fit
  • Our engagement messaging and positioning
  • How to qualify without pressure or manipulation
  • The difference between curiosity and urgency
  • How to run outreach that feels human, not transactional

All tools, systems, messaging, and training are provided.

What We Mean by Complex Sales

Our clients sell high-ticket B2B solutions that usually involve:

Longer sales cycles
Multiple stakeholders
Trust-based decisions
Evaluation of risk, not just price

This role is about engaging leaders who think carefully before they buy and value intelligent conversations over sales tactics.

Who This Role Is Great For

This role is ideal if you are:

  • Early in your career and want to learn how real B2B growth works
  • Transitioning from traditional SDR or BDR roles and burned out on pressure selling
  • Naturally curious, articulate, and comfortable talking with senior leaders
  • Interested in sales, strategy, consulting, or entrepreneurship long term
  • Coachable and open to learning a very different approach

No prior BDR or SDR experience is required.

We care far more about mindset, communication skills, and judgment than resumes.
